Official: Bensebaini named Algeria Player of the Year

At the awards ceremony in Paris, Dortmund player Bensebaini was named the Algerian Football Player of the Year.

The jury highlighted Bensebaini's "technique, power, elegance and stability". The Borussia Dortmund man beat out rivals such as Amoura (Wolfsburg), Mahrez (Jeddah Nacional), Gujri (Marseille) and Nouri (Manchester City).

Bensebaini joined Dortmund in the summer of 2023. This season, he has played a total of 14 times in the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League (scoring 2 goals and assisting 1). The international footballer recently helped Algeria successfully qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
