Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid and its foundation, chaired the council meeting held in the conference room of Real Madrid City. The Foundation approved its financial report for the 2024-2025 season at the meeting, which showed that the Foundation has assisted more than 400,000 people and their families through 1,438 projects, programs and activities in more than 100 countries.
In the 2024-2025 season, 165 social sports projects will be launched in Spain, benefiting more than 12,000 children and their families. At the same time, 1,013 educational and sports promotion activities were carried out in 63 countries around the world, attracting more than 72,000 children to participate.
For the upcoming 2025-2026 season, the Real Madrid Foundation Council has approved an action plan and strategic planning to ensure the sustainability of domestic and international projects, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups in society (such as disabled people, homeless people, shelter centres, prisons and the elderly).
