Remember him? Former NBA guard Shabazz Napier serves as coaching apprentice with Wizards

According to US media HoopsHype, league sources revealed that the Washington Wizards have hired Shabazz Napier as a coaching apprentice.

Napier played in the NBA for six seasons, playing for the Heat, Magic, Trail Blazers, Nets, Timberwolves and Wizards, averaging 7.1 points per game. Before entering the NBA, he led the University of Connecticut to two NCAA championships.

The apprenticeship program is a player development program designed to develop aspiring coaching talents under the guidance of Wizards head coach Brian Keefe.
