Kidd talks about the Knicks being interested in him: He never wanted to leave Dallas but he likes to be needed

The Mavericks faced the Knicks at home. Before the game, head coach Kidd was interviewed.
The reporter asked the Knicks whether they were interested in poaching him as head coach before hiring Mike Brown. He said: "We still have a lot of work to do to become a champion, and I will go all out. I was selected here, I won a championship here, I love this city, I love the fans here. So, I never thought about leaving Dallas. But I think we can say that we all like to be needed."
