Spanish media: Frick continues to explore Lamacia talents, 18-year-old Torentes joins the first team training

Spanish media ARA reported that Frick continued to explore La Macia's youth training talents, and 18-year-old left-back Torentes joined Barcelona's first team training.

This Sunday, Barcelona will start pre-season training class, and head coach Frick will also usher in his second season in coaching Barcelona. Young players once again lead the team forward, such as Yamal, Kubasi and Bernal. Meanwhile, their friend Torentes from Lamacia's youth training camp will also join the first team training, and the club considers him a shining star.

Torentes was born in Selva del Camp in 2007. A previous cruciate ligament injury changed his career trajectory, which was enough to despair many players. Torentes did not give up. He returned from injury last September and performed well in the youth Champions League. He is considered a strong and skilled full-back. Therefore, Torentes has attracted the attention of some of the top European clubs.

In May this year, Barcelona decided to extend Torentes' contract until the summer of 2028, and gradually increase the termination fee based on performance. Torentes has been training all the time in the summer, hoping to stay in good shape in pre-season preparations, convince coach Flick with his outstanding performance that he will train with the first team in the next few weeks.

Torentes' performance will determine his role in the new season, with Barde and Gerald Martin ahead of him, who have received invitations from other teams. Although this location already has good staffing, it is not ruled out that there will be changes. Barcelona director Deco has a high opinion of Torentes, and the club looks forward to seeing him gallop at the New Camp Nou Stadium in the future.
