Sell host talks about Negrera case: Barcelona commits one of the biggest shames in Spanish football history
Barcelona Club former chairman Sandro Rossel and Bartomeu, as well as Javier Enrique, son of former vice chairman of the referee committee, Jose Maria Enrique Negrera, made statements in court this Thursday as the subject of investigation. This is the latest development in the Negrera case, which involves Barcelona paying over seven million euros to Negrera's businesses.
Regarding this case, Manu Carenho of Sel Radio expressed obvious anger because the relevant issues have not been resolved since they were exposed more than two years ago.
In his opinion, it was completely unacceptable for Club Barcelona to pay 7.5 million euros to the then vice-chairman of the referee committee: "The judge will rule whether this constitutes a crime, but in any case it is one of the greatest shames in Spanish football history."
Whether the conviction is ultimately convicted, the host of the El Larguero program believes that Club Barcelona's payment of such a huge sum to the vice-chairman of the referee committee is incredible: "Whether it is a crime or a non-crime, who is caught or not, cannot change the fact that Barcelona has committed one of the greatest shames in Spanish football history. As for how the judge ultimately decides, that would be another matter."
