British media: Lyon priced at least 60 million euros for winger Fofana, and many other teams are interested

According to the Independent, Lyon has priced at least £51.5 million (60 million euros) for Malik Fofana, who is only 20 years old. Premier League teams such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham and Nottingham Forest have contacted the Belgian international. In addition, European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Leipzig and Naples are also interested in it.

It is understood that due to the pursuit of multiple teams, no deal has been reached. Lyon was demoted to Ligue 2 due to financial problems. Although they are appealing the decision, players still need to be sold to ease economic pressure, so Lyon hopes to increase Fofana's price tag.

Fofana spent an impressive season in Lyon, scoring 11 goals in 41 games and showing a remarkable football style, thus being recognized as one of the most promising young players in Europe. He also recently made his debut for the Belgian national team. Although he mainly serves as a winger, he is also competent for multiple positions in the frontcourt and meets the requirements of many coaches.
