According to famous reporter Shams, the source revealed to ESPN that the Suns have claimed former Lakers defender Jordan Goodwin from the free agent market.

Goodwin was previously cut by the Lakers to free up cap space and roster spots for Marcus Smart.

Last season, Goodwin played 29 games for the Lakers, averaging 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, and a three-point shooting percentage of 38.2%.

The Suns claim that Goodwin will have to bear all the guaranteed wages ($25,000) on the remaining contract, and the previous one-year contract between Goodwin and the Lakers ($2.35 million) will be transferred to the Suns intact.
