Simmons acknowledges to the Trail Blazers: Here I grew from a child to a man, thanks to all teammates & coaches
Today, Anthony Simmons posted pictures on social media and said goodbye to the Trail Blazers.
"Portland, thank you for bringing a 19-year-old kid who has never left Florida before. It took me a few years to adapt to Portland, but it eventually became my home. Here I grew from a child to a man. I want to say to all my teammates and coaches, thank you for giving me the wonderful memories and friendships that made me feel comfortable here. Thank you for supporting me at all of my management. I also want to say to the fans, thank you for accompanying me through the ups and downs. God will not give us challenges or changes that we cannot cope with. A new journey has begun, but the goal is still the same." Simmons wrote next to the picture.
Under the dynamic of Simmons, Lillard also left a message: "Good job, brother, I'm proud of you."
This summer, Simmons was traded to the Celtics by the Trail Blazers.
